If your Florida driver’s license was lost or stolen while you are out of state, your replacement options are limited.
Important to Know
Florida Tax Collector offices can only issue driver licenses in person. If you are not currently in Florida, we are unable to issue a replacement license at an office.
Your Available Option
If you are out of state, your only option is to order a replacement license online through the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles MyDMV Portal. Your replacement license will be mailed to you.

When You Return to Florida
If you prefer to replace your license in person, you may visit a Tax Collector’s Office once you return to Florida.
