If your Florida driver license is approaching its expiration date, it's a good idea to plan ahead.
You Can Renew Early
Driver licenses can be renewed up to 18 months before the expiration date, so there's no need to wait until the last minute.
Renew Online
Many customers are eligible to renew their license online through the MyDMV Portal:

Eye Exam Required In-Office
As part of the renewal process in our office, a vision screening (distance eye exam) will be conducted to ensure your vision meets licensing requirements.
Are You REAL ID Compliant?
Check the top right corner of your license for a gold star. If your license does not have a gold star, you are not REAL ID compliant and will need to bring additional documents when renewing in person.
