Due to ongoing updates to the Florida Department of Health’s E-Vitals system, Tax Collector offices are temporarily unable to issue Florida birth certificates. The Department is working on implementing new technology to improve the process and enhance security. While we are unable to provide this service at the moment, Florida Department of Health offices can still issue birth certificates. For additional details or to obtain a birth certificate, please contact your local Department of Health office directly. We will resume printing birth certificates as soon as the new system is operational. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
